The Kyrgyz Forest & Land Use Association are now present at the Grüne Woche, the biggest exhibition for food products in Europe, and do marketing of top quality products from the farmers in Kyrgyzstan.

Grüne Woche, one of Germany’s most traditional trade fairs and one of the world’s leading events in the food, agriculture and horticulture sectors that attracts exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.
The Association was established in 2010 in the framework of NFG Forestry Development Program in Kyrgyzstan (Central Asia), funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Today, after 15 years, It’s impressive how the association keep efficiently promoting different important forest and land use issues in Kyrgyzstan.
It’s really fantastic to hear about the Kyrgyz Forest & Land Use Association (KAFLU) and its continued success over the years!
Supporting small landholders in harvesting, processing and marketing of local forest products under the association’s brand “Silk Road Taste”, the developmet of the brand name and its nice logo was also a part of the NFG program. It is absolutely a brilliant way to showcase the unique products from Kyrgyz forests and bring them to a wider audience.
